Join O.V. Yonder staff as we lead a hike to the summit of Hanging Rock for some "leaf peeping". Leaves change according to elevation and they should be at their peak colors during this time. The hike is 2.6 miles round trip and there are some steep sections and is considered a moderate hike. Please be sure to bring water and wear appropriate clothing to hike in. We will rest at the top to view the leaves and scenery. Feel free to bring a lunch or snack. The entire hike round trip should take about an hour with stops. We will recommend other trails if you wish to continue hiking when we return to the parking lot. We will meet in front of the visitor center. Look for the staff in O.V. Yonder shirts.
